Alexi O’Dea has worked as a psychologist for over 15 years in both private and government organisations and in both regional and city areas. She has a Master of Clinical Psychology Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology Degree.
Her employment history includes working with adolescent and adult clients in mental health, as an occupational psychologist and a consultant. Furthermore she has worked with children with trauma histories and their families.
She is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists. Alexi is up to date with evidence based treatments, is linked to a national psychology network and continues to attend professional development training each year. In 2017 she completed Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Intensive Training with the Linehan Institute – Behavioral Tech and is in the process of gaining accreditation.
